Address Beach Resort Fujairah
Perched between the Hajar mountains and stunning Fujairah Coastline, LDPi worked on creating a luxury resort lighting scheme for both the human user and the animal inhabitants of the site.
The lighting design challenge was finding a balance between creating a destination resort while respecting the turtles and their nesting routes. A sitewide strategy was developed to both allow safe way-finding and create an ambience using indirect, efficient and sustainable lighting solutions.
Articulated architectural illumination was balanced with subtle and integrated landscape lighting, which restricts light spill and allows for the gradual visual unravelling of the mountain backdrop.
