Oryx Rotana

LDPi were appointed to prepare a lighting design scheme for both exterior and interior public spaces for the new Oryx Rotana Hotel located adjacent to Doha International Airport.

Working closely with the Architects and ID Consultants, LDPi responded with a combination of graphic lighting and illuminated washing techniques. The dramatic central atrium space of the Lobby Lounge and All Day Dining continues the graphic and accent washing themes to create a visual link through to the interior from the external facade. A layer of decorative lighting features creates a more personal scale in the public interior spaces.
