Kempinski Hotel

For this 5* hotel refurbishment in Prague city centre LDPi designed the lighting for both the Exterior and Interior public spaces. Due to the historic nature of the building a sympathetic approach to the lighting design solution had to be considered in the placement of fixtures for subtle and discreet lighting techniques.

The central existing courtyard had been modified by the architects into an interior atrium environment. Blue accent lighting to the structure and blue washes to the courtyard facades above create a night time experience. The existing structural features required particular attention to detail throughout the interior spaces.
