LDPi scope entailed the exterior facade and landscape lighting for the 4-star hotel, plus all interior lighting of public areas including all guestrooms/ suites.

A large bespoke glass and metal suspended lighting feature serves as sculptural art piece and central focus for the Lobby area within the double height space to unite Lobby Entrance, Reception, and Lounge activities. The colour change possibilities of the feature lighting sculpture is synchronised through the lighting control system with the colour change linear lamp sources within the ceiling raft cove detail which visually locates the suspended drop assembly over the artwork piece. The required functional downlighting aspect to the Lobby area in-turn visually becomes less prominent as the eye concentrates on the central lighting sculpture which commands the scene.

A mix of feature pendant luminaires in arrangements of cluster and random height assemblies responds to the informal dining function of the All Day Dining restaurant whereas a regimental regular pattern satisfies the interior design theme and atmosphere created of the formal dining to the Fillini restaurant.

To complement the ceiling pendant lighting techniques throughout the front of house areas, there is a layer of integrated lighting solutions where the lamp sources are detailed-into the architectural fabric and provides a depicting of the enclosing surfaces pertaining to the various spaces in a variety of accent or soft wash lighting techniques to enhance the material and finishes also to harmonize with interior design themes.
